Genre: comics and graphic novels
Subgenre: humor
Format: oversized paperback
Source: Berea branch of the Madison County (KY) Public Library

This book is an oversized collection of the Zits comic strip. Among the highlights: Jeremy breaks up with Sara in favor of another girl, and he finally gets his learner's permit. The comic strip capturing the travails and humor of a family with a teenager is quite amusing. You don't have to be a parent to enjoy this, but if you are, odds are good you will relate to some thing in this comics. What I enjoy about this comic strip are the very humane quality and slice of life depiction the authors managed to convey. The oversize volume is a bit difficult to read due to its size; it's a bit unwieldy. However, the strips are a bit bigger in size, so they are more legible. Overall, this is a very good book that I really liked. Fans of the comic strip will enjoy it as well.

4 out of 5 stars.
